I haven't worked for 6 years due to an accident and finally went on social security a year ago to prevent financial loss. I am trying to prevent more financial loss because of the economy and housing devaluation and a very shaky future.

Carol's Job with Sprint is very shaky and she has lost overtime.

I recieved an email from a company that they were looking for food demonstrators, appplied and got approved.

This should be self explanitory. http://www.samplefood.net/

It is 24 hours a week and ideal if you are retired or just looking for some extra cash. I was first offered 10.00 an hour but after the interview I was hired as a lead spe******t 11.75 an hour. I know that's not much but that may save us from financial ruin in the future. It should add 14k a year to our needs. Beats sitting at the casino for lunch earning NOTHING. I love to cook and have good people skills, been in business, and love to talk to people.

Good luck.

I am in hopes this may help someone else that may be in need.

congratulations on the job and good luck ron!

almost sounds like fun, doing what you like!

Great News Ron-I know things been rough there-times are hard-and Alot of us out there on the edge-big grin for ya ron.

That's way cooooool Ron. Are you sure they are paying you.... or are you paying them to get to cook. I'm sure the extra bucks will come in handy, but you know who the real winners are in this venture...... the ones that getta eat your food.

Thats a great thing Ron. I am glad that you have found this Job. I know it will put you in a better situation.

Congrats Ron!!

Way to go Ron! I checked and there are no like opportunities for me up here in the great white north but someone of us may live in those states that are on the list. Hope you do well there.

In Canada to qualify you'd have to have at least your level 1 foodsafe course and maybe even your level 2.

Points for passing that on to us.

Oops there are no points yet. Lol . Hang in there my friend, I will give em when I can. lol

Good for you, being retired I also know how tough it is to get buy. If it wasn't for my weekend gigs I'd be living under a bridge.
