Searching for a oven smoked brisket video using Lapsang tea, black cardamom, mushroom soy and activated charcoal — anyone seen this?

G’day folks — trying to find a recipe video I watched that used a really unusual combo: Lapsang Souchong tea as an overnight marinade, black cardamom and charcoal in the rub, mushroom-flavoured dark soy as the binder. It was for a smoked brisket without a smoker. Was still available on YouTube as of May 2025 - when I ciooked it last. I’ve checked the usual suspects (tea-rub videos, charcoal rub threads) but no definitive hit. If you remember seeing this or the channel, can you post a link? Thanks!

That's a great idea. Unforunately, the history list cut-off in June and I watched the vid in May. I recall that it had a huge number of views and likes - so wonder why it's not there and no one can remember it.

I’ve seen that video too! I’ve tried everything to find it, which is how I ended up on this site. I’ve never smoked anything since I can’t have an outdoor grill or smoker at home. Would you be able to share the recipe as you remember it?
