Sounds great Al !!!
Now I gotta figure out how to convert that recipe to a recipe for Spares, because I quit buying BBs a long time ago.
Prices around my area:
Pork Spares-----------------$1.99 to 2.49 per LB.
Baby Backs------------------$5.29 to $5.69 per LB.
Shouldn't be hard to figure---Just add a little time here & there.
Thanks al,
Bear
Good job Al! Looks really tasty. I've been struggling with ribs too, can't ever seem to get them just the way I want. I've come very close, a couple times. The last batch (yesterday) were a complete disaster. Of course we got rained out, so I ended up doing them in the oven. Live and learn I suppose. Thanks for sharing your new method.
AWESOME JOB AL, I'm glad you were able to make Judy Happy...whispering...."I think she was fixin' to hide your smoker..."...JJ
Thanks JJ!
The thing about this whole rib thing is Judy has been making ribs all her life the way her mother taught her to make them.
They are excellent & exactly the same every time, everyone loves them, including my son & grandson and all our friends. She boils
them first & the puts them on the grill with sauce. I know what your thinking! Boiled ribs?
My goal has always been to capture the flavor & texture of her ribs with an added smoke flavor, and I finally did it.
Thanks again for the foiling sauce recipe!
