Howdy, Bad Santa here and I wanted to join in the fun that y'all are having here on this fine and very informative forum. I have been learning and playing with the art of cooking with smoke for about 45 years now and have always been fascinated with it. Built a smoker out of an old freezer years back for smoking sausages, jerky etc. Picked up one of those AMNPS for cold smoking and have been using it on all sorts of things....even smoked up some "firecracker" crackers the other day lol.

Just wated to say "Howdy" and to say "Thank you" to all of the members and the posting of their shared knowledge so folks can learn more about a passion we all share of "seeking truth in the thin blue smoke"

Thanks again for having me...

Bad Santa...that's an interesting name.  Is there a story behind it?

Thanks for the welcome...@ PGS, yes there is a story behind my name, I look like Santa, so most folks call me that anyway, and I make the womenfolks blush, tell funny stories of life's happenings, and have the kids mesmerized when I'm seen out and about after Halloween..LOL.

So the name was a natural when I started cooking competitions as a one man team...judge for yourselves..handsome devil ain't I.....
