Hello all,
I've been reading the forum for a couple months and I really enjoy it. I decided to join because it seems that everybody here can offer a wealth of information and I occasionally have questions that need answers. I've been smoking meats for a few years, mostly with electric smokers. Prior to that, I was (and still am) just a huge fan of the old grill. My last smoke was a beer can chicken, which came out great. I'll be firing up the smoker this week for a small (3 lb.) brisket, but I may try to throw some accompaniments in there too. Look forward to being a part of this great resource!

Chris

Welcome aboard....glad ya finally took the plunge and joined in!

Welcome Meatball, glad you joined up. Good luck with your brisket. Why not throw a fattie in?
Can't wait for some Qview and any advice you are able to offer to others.

thanks guys...Yeah, I agree, a 3 lb brisket does seem like a waste of wood, so I'll throw something in with it - some fixins or maybe a fattie (would be my first fattie). I got the brisket on sale though and bought the biggest one they had (probably why they were on sale).

Welcome to the forum Chris, looking forward to your input here. :)

Welcome, glad to have ya. If help is what you are looking for you have found it! Good luck!

Welcome Chris. Be sure to take lots of photos and show us your work. As you can tell by the responses, it's kind of a big deal around here.
