So Hello, My name is Chuck from PGH PA and excited to get into smoking and REAL BBQ.

I own a MES 30 inch that seems to be perfect for me given the amount of mouths I feed currently.

I started brewing beer and cooking a variety of foods. I'm a big fan of exotic and unusual foods (can't get enough of chopped and andrew zimmern).  I can't wait wait to apply the smoke to stuff that you wouldn't think of and may never goat, seafood, pastas, and other interesting meats n' stuffs. You can also be sure that everything will be brined or marinated in beer.

Huge soccer and sports fan and plan on doing BBQ's throughout the whole summer!

Current ideas: Chocolate stout marinated brisket, finished with beer butter. IPA brined-rosemary crusted chicken. Guinness marinated beef, smoked, chilli. Bock pulled pork.

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

Hi Chuck...Welcome to the group!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
