Hi, I am Rusty Scott from Kingsville, Texas, about 40 mi south of Corpus Christi.

I am interested in smoking and grilling and whatever else I can do with my weber kettles. A 22" & a 14" Smokey Joe. I am in the midst of putting a dedicated smoker together. Undecided about electric / gas / wood & charcoal.

Well I am glad y'all let me join I am glad to be here.

Anything else ya gotta ask.

Thanx
Rusty

Welcome to the forum Rusty!  I vote for wood/charcoal,  love the flavor!

Welcome aboard!

I agree with Mike, wood/charcoal is the way to go.

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yeah I agree that real smoke is what it is all about. The only thing that electric or gas brings is speed and convenience, not flavor.

I just dream about kick'n back drinkn' and partying like those that are waiting for me to get done. But the only place I wanna be is at the grill / smoker.

Thanx again
Rusty
