A dollar store card, note of sympathy and stamp to mail it. Doesn’t take much for people that are hurting to feel encouraged about their journey forward without a loved one.

I am sure monetary support is helpful… but certainly not expected or ever asked for.

Very sad news. Eric was a very good friend to me and we spent a lot of time talking about life and bbq. Thanks to the forum members who reached out to me to let me know of his passing. RIP Eric

We have very unfortunately lost Eric @SmokinEdge !

His wife this evening texted me that Eric had a heart attack and is no longer with us.

His wife Carma asked if it’d pass along the devastating news to the SMF family…

I respectfully told her I would.
