How do you clean 'drippings' on the Cabelas 160 lit. easily?

Hi, Just got my Cabelas 160 and love it, but not the cleaning!  My Jerky dripped onto the bottom of dehydrater and it was a 'pain' to clean.  Anyone have any easy ideas on how to keep this from being too much a chore?

nuarcher, morning....   Place the strips on parchment paper.... Dave

You do not want to block the entire tray with parchment... Locate the strips so there will be air flow..

Is your dryer verticle with the heat on the bottom ??

No you shouldn't have to turn the jerky... I dry onions, garlic, tomatoes etc and do not tury them... I have a D-10 fan forced horizontal dryer too...

There will probably be a learning curve, clean up will be a snap.. Dave

I line the bottom of mine with foil ,, You could also spray some Pam on the bottom not where the vents are but you could rub some on the vent cap
