David, I am making some also after reading that post also, but im using all Jalepenos instead of Hobinaro. Im not ready for that type of heat.

I'm trying a mixture of Japs, red cherry, and cayenne. My pics won't upload. Try again later.

I have now had the pureed mixture in the fridge for 8 days. I noticed that after blending it all together that all the pieces were floating and the liquid was on the bottom due to tha airation from blending. When I opened the fridge this morning I saw to my relief there was about an inch and a half of liquid on top. I have no idea how im going to go through so much Jalepeno sauce but im sure going to give it a try.Next time ill do 1 lb. of peppers instead of three LOL.

When you guys "scoope the vinegar off the top"....dont you want some vinegar in there for the liquid aspect? do you only scoop some off? or is it more of a "how runny do you want it" preference?

looks awesome i wanna give this a try! Can i get cheese cloth at walmart?

I poured all liquid off the top. There is still plenty of liquid in the bottom pepper mixture. I did find cheese cloth at wally world ( in the paint dept ), go figure.

Hahahahaha .... at the wally world here it was in the fabric dept..  man...I thought they were all the same...

David, evening..... try pouring some into an 8 ounce jar and add a load of crushed fresh garlic ...... Since you have "too" much, I though now would be a good time to experiment..... and write review about your experiment..... I think garlic hot sauce would be killer.....

looks awesome. i tried to make some a few weeks ago, but i forgot about it and the peppers turned into a science project. i will be tring this again when i get my hands on some peppers.

Going to do some experimenting with this stuff today. Haven't poured vinegar out yet because it seems too thick with out it. Think I'm going to re-blend and may add more vinegar to get the consistency I'm looking for. After that I'm going to divide in two and add some fresh garlic to one of them. I'll post some pics later. I've got all day, didn't go to work. Lol.

Ok, so I put it in the blender to thin it up some as it was THICK. Added more white vinegar and got it to a consistency that I am happy with. Gave it a taste. It's got good flavor and also has good heat. Was going to divide it in half and got sidetracked ( I'm home with my 3 yr old son and sick 2 yr old daughter ). So without dividing it in half I threw in about 6 large clover of garlic and liquified it. So the whole batch turned into garlic hot sauce. I must tell you that I am not disappointed about that. This is now even better than it was and I can only imagine it getting better as the garlic has time to settle in. It ended up making one full quart, enough for two of these large teriyaki sauce bottles.

Thanks Stan. I have an idea for the next one already. I think it may be a major hit. Y'all are just gonna have to wait.
