They are "Hofmann's German Style Frankfurters in natural casing".Nice............I don't think either one is available on the west coast. The Hoffman's look like a white sausage. Are they along the style of a banger?
I have a jar of their pickled sausage in the fridge. Their pickled eggs are delicious as well. Haven't had a Zweigles since I lived in Batavia NY.They're both good. Though, I'm a Zweigle's fan. Hebrew national jumbo. Glaziers makes really good pickled sausages too.
I would eat them for sureGrilled some Hoffmans and some Glaziers for the 4th of July.
Both on a roll with hot mustard, dill relish and horseradish.
The Glaziers took first place, with 100%(2/2) voters choosing them over the Hoffmans!
I really do like the Glaziers.

I just googled Saugy after seeing this. Would love to try, but will have to look for a place that sells them around here. For me I like the locally made Saugy.
You might look for Hofmanns. They went national a few years ago. I'm pretty sure you can get Glaziers shipped. Edit: They do ship. Here is the link -I’m supposed to stay away from processed meats, but every so often a chili dog just sounds so good.
We seem to always have Nathan’s, but for as few as I eat not sure what is better that’s available here (E. NC … Harris Teeter, Publix, Food Lion). If nothing great there, and if they were available to ship in, what would be your recommendations?
Thanks! I did go to their online store, but shipping is kinda prohibitive in small quantities. Guess I will search my stores more closely. You might look for Hofmanns. They went national a few years ago. I'm pretty sure you can get Glaziers shipped. Edit: They do ship. Here is the link -
