One of my all time favorite soups! Looks great Steve! Believe it or not it popped up on my Facebook yesterday and had me craving it.

Local Chinese buffet (back in MN) adds matchsticks of bamboo shoots and uses tofu instead of pork or chicken. Love the bamboo. I'll take your version with pork over the tofu.

You must use ground white pepper. Good hot and sour soup must cause a little sweat

Kind of went a little different direction but you inspired me to make. I made the base beef and used a bunch of shiitake and some other mushrooms I got at 99 Ranch. Man I still have a bunch of mushrooms to use up. Used Tofu for the first time. Man did this taste good! I think I going to do your crab deviled eggs with some left over crab.

Very similar to mine, but I have added a cake of sliced tofu, black fungus, and lily buds.

I consider myself a bit of a fun guy, but this house and myself aren't really into the fungi. It sounds amazing and looks great.
