I just got off of the phone with Steve @ horizon to find out the status of my basket and tuning plate. Guy was super cool. Went into detail about my original OKJ that I have from 97 and my OKJ charcoal grill from way earlier. After talking to him, I can tell those guys there have not one shred of love or respect for Joe Davidson. Sounded kinda bitter about the whole company being sold in 98. But I cannot blame them. I mean he essentially killed their jobs. But hey.....he wants to make sure I have a nice product.

Odd, especially when Steve followed Joe and Roger Davidson over to Horizon:  if it were really as bad as Steve made it sound, would he have really tagged along?  Or is this Steve Davidson, as the third brother, who didn't feel as though he got his fair share, as Joe was the founder and Roger's the CEO of Horizon?  Hmmmm...the plot thickens....

Well Steve said the current OKJ's are pure trash. I already saw a false claim on their site. When you go to their "our Story" section it says they are made from 12 gauge oil pipe. OK I am calling bull crap on that. I know damn well they are pressed rolled steel from steel plate.

Welcome to the world of CB:  and I don't mean Cranky Buzzard....
