Getting ready to smoke a chicken in a bit.  I was thinking of using a hodge-podge of cherry,maple, pecan, apple, peach (& a little hickory) - all small portions of chips left in bags of wood gathered while cleaning the garage.  Anyone try this, or are they just going to overrun each other into some weird taste?
 
It can't hurt, I have mixed three different bag ends before, and there are some blended varieties out there.. Why not...
