I got this last month and remembering all the polished pieces on my old Triumph motorcycle, I broke out the wet sandpaper and jeweler's rouge on some of the aluminum pieces on this Hobart 1612. I did the back blade guard as well.

 
Shined up nice. Maybe i should do mine.
 
Nice shine! Cleaned up nice. Jewler's rouge, hadn't thought of that since the service. Used on all good patrol projects!

BTW 1968 Triumph Bonnie, but it never shined like that....LOL
