Anybody have this model ?? If so... When sliding the carriage/table back do you have some resitence ?? Mine slides forwrd easy and smooth... But on the backslide/stroke it has some resitence and requires just a little bit of force... Is this normal ??

I have a Hobart slicer and it slides smooth both ways. It's a 1612. Maybe the slides need cleaned off real well and start of fresh with lube?

I was thinking maybe the slide has a ding or a burr that only manifests its presence in one direction. Here is a manual in case you don't have one.
