Hi from Utah

Hi, retired teacher (SoCal) retired to Utah near SLC.

I have been into smoking for about a year (charcoal, electric, offset, etc). I am far from an expert. I have recently purchased a 20" Traeger smoker for a steal ($100). (looks like about 4 years old and I did some minor repairs) I want to concentrate on pellet smoking for now, but have lots of reading to do here.

I am excited to get some great ideas and suggestions from people here. Glad to be here.

When we were passing through Provo in 1981, every guy had the same color blue shirt. And there were angels in the air. The Blue Angels team was practicing.

What else, someone handed me a hit of mescaline at a rest stop so I was tripping while driving the Hornet 360 north on a freeway paved in gravel (no kidding) when a Chevy passed us and kicked up a rock that shattered my driver's window. That was a rush.
