Hi from the Great Corn Desert (Iowa)

Hey all!

My name is Mark and I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Lots of things to smoke out here.  Would love to try smoking deer as we grow them pretty big out here. 

I have a masterbuilt smoker that my wife bought for me from Sams Club.  Seems to do really well but I am a fairly newbie when it comes to this as I have only smoked on it about 4 times.  I know.. i know... pick up the pace and get smoking.. like right now instead of typing!

Anyway, looking forward to alot of info here.  Hopefully when I get good at this I can provide alot of good advice for others too.  Until then.. I'll learn..learn..learn...

cf, morning and welcome to the forum..... Lots of folks, including myself, use a Masterbuilt electric smoker...  They are a good unit...   We have lots of recipes to get you going...  In the search bar, you can enter the keyword for your search and up they pop....   This forum can become addictive with the help of out great members to guide you.... We are also open to suggestions so don't hesitate to contribute pointers you have learned also..... Sit back, relax and enjoy the long smokey ride...     Dave
