That is all. Cheers! 🍻

First thing I thought when I read your title before clicking on it was heck no I'm not putting veggies in my smoker.

To each their own, but I've never cared for adding smoke to drinks. That's why I avoided scotch for years as I was introduced to the ones that taste like ashtrays. Had me a few glasses of Glemorangie 12 last night. Yum.

Ah, the eternal debate about the degree of peat "smokiness" in a single malt Scotch. I agree with you that it can get overwhelming. I prefer a lighter peaty touch, but do enjoy the occasional dram of Laphroaig once in a while.

When in Scotland on biz in the early '90's I did "the Scotch Trail", a route that takes you past many of the finest Scotch distilleries where you can take the tour and tasting. It included the famed Macallan distillery, whose product even the Scots revere.

I still have fond, detailed memories of that trip over 30 years ago.

I prefer smoke on proteins, meat, cheese, even eggs. In my cocktail, not so much. I did just learn ( while on vacation) how to get rid of all the Mezcal in my basement. Mezcalita Passionfruit; done right all the smoke is gone. Make it too strong it’s passion fruit ashtray.

Is there a round ice ball behind that smoke?
I just got the round ice ball makers.
Was thinking about the smoke aspect too
