I just joined the forum and cannot wait to read the threads. I have been cooking over 40 years now and my favorite cooking is on the grill. I have three: Charbroil Commercial InfraRed gasser Charbroil Big Easy Weber 21.5 Kettle Charcoal Grill Coming soon....Weber WSM I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1988 after more than 20 years of service. I then worked in the private sector for over 20 years and retired for good nearly three years ago. Since my retirement I have more time to play on the grill. My last cook 2 days ago was a rack of baby backs which were cooked/smoked on my Kettle grill for a little over 4 hours. I never use any kind of sauce on my ribs. I just use my own dry rub and some wash, not mop, during the cook. I have sauce available for diners if they like. I used some tips I learned from the latest grilling book titled "Low and Slow" which I recommend to all outdoor cooks. Love to hear from any "grill freaks" like me. Maybe we could swap some tips.
