My name is Ted and I live in Ilion, NY (Central NY), our main claim to fame is this is the birthplace of Remington Arms and the factory is still here(for now). I've been a lurker for quite a while while researching a new smoker. Finally decided on a Masterbuilt XL propane smoker, so I went to the local Bass Pro and picked one up while it was on sale. Got her put together and seasoned yesterday and while I'm sitting here I've got a couple racks of baby backs smoking away. Glad to be on the forum, it's a wealth of information !!
