It appears that I'm yet another in a long line of "Smokin" Mikes.  Watched a PBS show called "BBQ with Franklin: The Brisket" and got psych'd about smoking some meat...again!  Didn't have time for brisket but I had a couple of butts and threw them on the Weber this morning.  Still cooking!

I've toyed with various grills/smokers/devices costing nothing (free) to $$$ in the past.  I'm currently using a 22.5 Weber kettle.  I mainly cook chicken and pork using natural charcoal (Stubb's, Royal Oak, Cowboy) and generally use hickory as a smoking wood.  I have been using a Maverick ET-732 to monitor temps.

I want to try an offset smoker/grill next...maybe one like the Horizon 16" classic.  That's the kind of thing I would use the forums to figure out.
