Hi folks! I am new to Barbecuing so new that I haven't fired it up yet.
I do know the difference between grilling and BBQ but that's about it. I built my own grill 20 + years ago from a hot water tank and cold roll 1/4" square stock.
I wanted to make a BBQ from a oil tank I bought but never got around to it. 2 weeks ago I put it on offer up and was gone in a hour. I felt so ashamed.
That same day I was driving back from the dump in my 78 Chevy C 30 crew cab ( yes I do love it) when on the side of the road there it was SCCREECH! a vertical offset smoker. After a quick assessment I brought it home. Driving into my back yard I see Mongo and Brutikas my sons where working on their mudder cycles. Before I could say Looky what I got here they had it out of my truck scraping, welding, banged into shape and painted.
Now I have to learn how to cook on.

Hah, that's a great way to get started! Put that smoker model into the Search here. Oh are you going to have fun.
