Hello from Vegas

Currently traveling and spending a few weeks in Vegas. Just yesterday we received our first ever smoker, a Traeger Ranger pellet grill. Called Traeger to register it, and Traeger says it not safe to use... So we are a bit disappointed to learn that. Any other Ranger Users?

Hello Chris, thanks for the welcome. That's part of the problem - I call them, the CS Rep says "Oh, I don't know exactly why, except it is unsafe" When I press them for an answer I get the "supervisor will call you back". And no one ever does. I've called them four times, spoke with four different CS Reps, got nothing accomplished. I've Tweeted the problem, I've posted to FB. It's sad really, there goes our Labor Day Plans. In frustration, I've contacted the BBQguys to return the grill. I just wish another vendor made a similar pellet grill, as I'm really thinking less and less of Traeger.

Thanks for the welcome and the suggestion - I've sent them a lengthy message, however, it appears they haven't been on this site since 2017... so I'm not optimistic. Thanks again.
