I need some help identifying this wood I just cut today. Any ideas? I think the bottom is hickory and the top is walnut, but I'm not sure

Welcome to SMF. It would be easier to tell if you had some leaves, but then I'm no wood expert. If you cut it near your home, I bet you could ask your neighbors & they would know.
