Hey gang,

I'm Joel from Tennessee.  I have to admit that I'm new to smoking meats but have been playing around with my Masterbuilt electric smoker since Thanksgiving.  I've done several pork tenderloins (to start with have used the premarinated ones from a local grocer).  For Christmas, I smoked two turkey breasts and they turned out really good for a first time go.

I work for UPS so hopefully now that our Peak season is ending, I can do more with the smoker.  I really want to try some beef briskets, seafood, and hopefully soon a Prime Rib!

I look forward to interacting through the forum....

Hi Joel and welcome to the group!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.  Be sure to post some qview when you can (pics of your food/smokes), as we all love to see other people's gear, methods, and results.

Have fun, and happy smoking!
