Hello all!  I am from Northeastern Michigan.  Just became a smoking enthusiast about a year ago.  After I stumbled across this site it's my first stop to any smoking questions I have and a great recipe finder!  Thanks for all the contributions and hopefully I will be able to give a little back someday.

Welcome nice to see more people jumping in from Mi. This is the perfect time to experiment with cold smoking as our weather is perfect right now for it. I have a lot of cheesed I am going to do this weekend myself.

Anyway hello and all that. Enjoy this wonderful site.

Hello ToneyBub!   Welcome to the forums.

You won't be sorry you've joined.  Lots of great info and people here willing to share it.  I just joined a little while ago too, but have learned more here than any other site.

I lived just east of Gaylord for about 14-15 years.  God's Country up north in Mich, for sure.  I sure miss it.

Now we live in central MI.  The flat lands.  Ya know?  LOL

Also used to run a delivery route in northern part of state, as well and the "real" Northern MI.  The upper peninsula.  Wisc. side to Drummond island area, and from bridge to sault as well as Copper Harbor.  Northern southern MI, from T C to Alpena, Rogers City, and most towns in between including Houghton Lake and Tawas.

I did the UP one week and the northern lower the next.  Covered some ground, I did.
