Hello, my name is Quinn, I have been recently taking an interest in Smoking food! I found this site a couple of months ago and referenced some things to get me started from time to time.

I started reading these forums and really liked what I was learning and really like how you all help each other out.

I started a few months ago smoking chicken and ABT's on my gas grill with smoke pouches with some decent results.

I just got me a Grillpro 16" (ECB style) and I'm ready to get after it. I look forward to chatting with you all and enjoying some gooooood food.

Later,

Q

First off Welcome Quinn to SMF. My Father owned a rug bussiness and I grew up kicking carpet and laying vinyl flooring so I feel ya brother. You'll like it here for there are a lot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are a lot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.

Welcome To Your New Addiction

Welcome To Your New Addiction
Thanks, for the welcome all ya all!  It is a great hobby the best part is you get to eat your projects!

Addiction sums it up well. My wife thinks I'm all ate up because the other day, I had the chicken going and I found some string cheese in the fridge, I thought what the heck, so I placed them on a piece of foil for about 30 min. or so, let them cool in the fridge and it was great.

I feel I'm fitting right in here with you all.  I have got allot of advice this last week and I started on my first UDS it's going to be sweet!
