Hey everyone, I have been lurking around the site for about 3 months and finally decided to join up. I live south of Houston, and I bought me an Old Country BBQ Pits smoker from Academy a while back. This site has been invaluable in providing information about the proper techniques for smoking meat. Just want to say thanks to everyone that contributes.

I like your handle. Do you do home bacon? I do about 120 pounds a month for friends that like bacon

I've actually never tried it, only smoked brisket and ribs so far. But eventually I'm going to venture out into trying some new stuff. I just love to eat it lol
