Hello from El Cajon

Brand new to the SMF. I live in El Cajon, Ca. Retired a few years ago but recently picked up a little job at Costco handing out samples to members. Have ordered, and am anxiously awaiting, an electric Masterbuilt 30" smoker. I decided to jump into this level of smoking meat after many years of using a Weber Kettle AND I noticed Costco is now selling pork belly. I'm gonna try the presliced pork belly for my first attempt in the new smoker.

Welcome to the site Gary.  Congratulations on your new smoker.  You've got a good one in the Weber kettle, also.  I've used mine for a wide variety of things over many years.
