  my name is scott i have been smoking meat for about 5 years can't aford much so i build most all my grills and smokers from car and truck parts and what ever people put beside the road i repair autos for a living. parts and metal are easy to get. this past weekend i smoked beef ribs saturday and turkey thighs sunday. i don't have any pics i fogot to take pictures i have done 70% of recipes that come from the news letters they were all very yummy. i'm looking forward to doing more as i smoke all year the smoker and grills are the first thing i shovel out in the winter.I smoke in a gas grill when its realy cold and windy.curantly colecting metal and other parts for a bigger smoker. i would like a wood fired smoker.

First off welcome to SMF there Scott. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
