Hi Everyone,
My name is Patrick and I'm out here on the Central Coast of California, San Luis Obispo or SLO as it's affectionately referred to. After reading the SMF posts over the past few years, I think that I'm still a novice in comparison :) I use various grills depending on what's cooking, from an old Hibachi to a 5 burner gas grill (nice hand-me down when the original owners "upgraded"). My favorite and most used unit remains the Weber Kettle I purchased ten years ago - replacing the 20 year old one my brother gave me used.
I have to say that SMF is a great resource for improving the success of grilling or smoking foods. It's paradise when good meats, vegetables, fruit desserts, and a bottle wine (or beer) are shared with family and friends. Next up for me is learning to cook with a kamado and I'm reading all about the subject on SMF!
