I've been using a smoker for about 5 years now. I got introduced to the Smoking Meat site from my Dad who loved the recipes and sauces here, so I bought the sauce, dry rub recipes, and cookbook and have been hitting the site ever since.

Just got rid of my old Char Broil smoker and got an Oklahoma Joe Highland Reverse Flow smoker. Huge improvement! I also have a Weber 24" kettle grill. I've also got a Weber iGrill thermometer that's on its last legs so looking to upgrade to a better one.

So far I tend to smoke pork butts, turkey breast, duck, chicken, and rabbits. Did two briskets on the Char Broil, but those took about 16 hours, not sure I want to go that route again, but who knows?

Welcome to SMF from SE GA and you've landed at the best spot on the worldwideweb!
