Hello from Alabama

New to the wonderful world of the smoker. Been grilling for years, now ready to smoke it up a little. Wife got me a Brinkmann electric Smoker for Christmas, and I've already got it dirty with my first attempt, a pork shoulder. Turned out great, at least that's what everyone said. Here to learn more about smoking. I'm open to any tips y'all wanna provide.
