Hello to you all!
My name is Randy and I'm a starting "smoke-a-holic"...I've always enjoyed the taste of smoked foods and now I've decided to take on actually doing my own.
I'm a novice to smoking  so I'll be in and out asking questions here and there, picking the brains of you master smoker's that so kindly provide insight on this wonderful art.

I don't have a smoker yet but I've got it narrowed down to the electric 40" MES unit (probably the old generation). I've jumped the gun already and purchased Jeff's book and his rub/bbq recipes. I'm planning on ordering the AMNPS this week.

That's about it for now...so thanks for the advice I'm sure I'll receive, and keep the smoke rollin'!
