Pot pies, Shepard's pie, meat pie all great comfort food. The next time I have left over roast of some sort we will make the mini Shepard's pies. Have to freeze them before vac packing though or the tater top squishes everywhere!

Shouldn't be a problem! I just found a place where you can buy liquid smoke in 5 gallon quantities!

Yes for the most part homemade veggie stock. We have experimented with using other items as a binder like cooked squash and mashed beans. Those are okay but texture wise for me not fantastic.

Just one question, though.  In your first picture, there's a bottle on the counter.  Is that what you raise your "turkeys" on????
