Hi, all. Not a 100% new smoker. We have a 6’ traditional wood smoker and for Christmas i got a Traeger. I had resisted a Traeger until i got one! Ive been obsessing over the Traeger. This week has been ribs, meatloaf, mac n cheese, potatoes, green beans, cookies, chicken wings, rump roast...suffice to say my husband is thrilled! My favorite smoke is cold smoked salmon and tritip.

I am a high school vice principal, live in Utah (no, not Mormon). Its my husband and I, a three legged wiener dog, hearing impaired chiweenie, and an axolotyl.

I look forward to learning and experimenting!

DayDay, welcome to SMF! Glad you're here with the new toy and already cranking out the delicious goodies.

It's not often I have to look up something in a post, but I now know a lot more about chiweenies and axolotyls. I thought maybe your fingers slipped on the keyboard, because sometimes that hapwm,ns.
