How did I get so lucky???

A friend of the Wife and I offered 2 whole trees for wood. I took him up on the offer before he could change his mind!!! He wants to open some of his woods for a project and has to remove some trees.
A bit hard to see, but the first pics are of a Hickory tree and the next 2 are of a White Oak.

Both are about 60'high and in good health. These are gonna be some good firewood next year.Lots of good smokes!!!
Now I gotta get busy and handle it all.

What Luck, the two best woods... Now all you have to do is wait for them to season...

Awsome! I know somebody with a practically new chainsaw and a strong back who would be willing to help you takem down...and he lives pretty close to you!?!?!?! I think I(opps) I mean HE works pretty cheap...Just a few armloads of wood will probably do it!!Wink Wink!!
