Posted to the wrong forum, so I find out.  :(

Happy Easter to everyone from NE Georgia. Got a ham in my 40" MES new smoker.  Having to run it on the remote since the display isn't working right, which I have already learned is a common trait and may be why Masterbuilt has them backordered.......  Grrrr.

In any event, I will be using the smoker mainly for sausages such as andouille.  (spell checker doesn't work on here for some reason).  

Of course, I'll use it for ribs and chicken too but the sausage was the 'reason' I 'needed it' as far as the wife knows.  

Happy I found you all and hope to learn from you in the future.  I'm a retired Engineering Manager who spent his life in the plastics industry working his way up the ladder.  Enjoyed every minute (well, maybe not) but enjoy retirement a WHOLE LOT MORE!
