Awesome looking burgers Farmer!  They look perfect, nice and juicy.  Quick question, I've been having trouble with over doing burgers on my UDS.  To be honest, I've been lazy and throwing on frozen patties when I have something else cooking in there.   I've had them come out perfectly on the MES, but the UDS is a totally different beast.  Roughly how long do you leave them on for?

When I grill on the drum I raise the basket. Do you?

I am guessing about 30 mins. The burger is also thawed.

What breed of cate do you raise? I have angus, hereford and charolais mix. My FIL raises purebred angus.

I usually cook it indirect to get more of the smoke flavor. Thank you for the response though. I'm going to play around with the times and see what happens.
