My name is Trae. I've been browsing for a while and just received a copy of Jeff's book. I've gotten excited about learning to smoke meat and perfecting the craft, so I decided to join the forum and participate as much as possible. My smoker is a propane smoker, similar to the Masterbuilt brand. I don't recall the exact brand, but my wife purchased it at Lowes in Wichita, KS about five years ago. It's been covered and sitting in either our garage or outside since we've been in the Atlanta metro area, about four years. This is also why I can't recall the brand name.

I plan to work on cleaning it out here really soon and getting it ready for work. I'm looking forward to participating in and learning from this forum.

Quick notes:

I've been married to for 10 years. My wife and I have one daughter who is 2 years old. We are originally from Wichita, KS and currently live in Stone Mountain, GA. I work as a Technical Trainer II for Cox Communications.

Is that too much info? :)
