Hello all,

My name is Dave and I am a superintendent in a northern Minnesota school district.  Live in the Brainerd Lakes area and my wife and I own an alpaca farm.  (Don't bbq or smoke the alpacas though!)  I have a 10 year old Traeger 070 and used to own a Traeger 075 as well.  Had a couple of years where I owned a small BBQ Supply shop that sold Traegers and lots of the competitve folks seasonings and sauces.  I'm looking to buy a new pellet grill in the near future (not a Traeger this time) and would welcome suggestions.

Great to have you join us Dave, :welcome1: from North Dakota!
Have had a Yoder YS640 for a little over 2 years that am very happy with, worth considering for yourself anyways...

Hey Dave

Welcome to the Smoking  forum.   You’ll find great , friendly people here, all more than willing to answer any question you may have.  Just ask and you’ll get about 10 different answers—all right.  LOL.   Don’t forget to post qviews.

Hey Dave, glad to have you here. Don't know to much about pellet smokers, but I'm sure someone here does.

Hey Dave

Glad to see another member from Minnesota. Like Gary said I'm sure someone here has a wealth of info on pellet smokers.
