  Hi all,

Jeff here, been using a couple modified Brinkman Charcoal Smokers(mini UDS's) for several years, and recently picked up a Davy Crockett Pellet grill by Green Mountain Grills. Really like the new smoker and the ease of use with the electronic temp controller and WIFI feature.

Also am a Homebrewer for the past 15 years and enjoy making Stouts, Porters and Ales. Have not done any Lagers yet due to temp control capabilities for fermenting low and slow, but more to come on that.

Have been making sausage(Polish Kielbasa) for a number of years with my family and friends, which was a tradition in our family ever since I can remember. Love throwing some of the sausage we produce on the smoker from time to time.

Anyway, hello to all!!

Jeff, welcome. Been in the forum just a few months. Such a great source of info in here. I'm using a charcoal Brinkmann myself.
I'm just down the road in Downriver.
Check out the Michigan group and the get together threads sometime.

Take care ,see ya around

Hi Jeff,

I'm a new member too. I grew up in Livonia and now live in Dexter.

I also homebrew and make wine. Nothing fancy, but fun. [emoji]128512[/emoji]

Good morning and welcome to the forum from another warm and muggy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.   Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Yes welcome Michigander.

We hold a fattie contest every year at my place. I feel pretty comfortable calling it the biggest fattie contest in Michigan (30+ fatties entered this year) but for a larger than life effect we will call it the largest fattie contest in the universe!

Your welcome next June.
