  1. My name is Frank Cason and I live in Jefferson, Texas. I was actually looking for a place to sell my old propane tank smoker mounted on a trailer when I found this site. I just purchased another smoker (upgrade) and look forward to using it. I've been smoking for about 7 years and enjoy it a lot. The smoker I just got is actually my 6th one. I've been able to "upgrade" over the years. This one may be "the one." I'm sure y'all understand what talking about. Anyway, I look forward to coming to this site often.

Welcome to the board, Frank! Lots of smoker builds here. However we will tease you if you don't post pics..!

  3. I made the deal on it yesterday. Unfortunately I won't have time to go get it for a few weeks. Can't wait to fire it up. It's been several years since it's even been used. I'll post the one I have on a trailer that's for sale later today.

  7. Nice looking smoker. If you will post pics in the classified section a lot more people will see it. Remember the more pics and info the better.

    Happy smoken.

  8. I got the new smoker home Friday. I cleaned on it and got it fired up last night to clear out the cobwebs. It's been twenty plus years since it was last used. Even though it's raining today and I don't have my shed built over it yet, I am determined to brave the elements to play with my new toy. It is holding a steady temperature with minimal effort. The extremely large firebox is a big plus. I'm smoking two racks of ribs, pork butt and a pot of pinto beans.
