Feb 6 Halliburton had it's annual cookoff in katy Texas. There were 23 teams and the meat of choice was brisket. I was smoking with the Devon energy team. I had been doing alot of there work last year and made a team of 6 guys mostly engineers. The compition was tough alot of teams were serious with there equipment and staff. They cook every event they can. We came together that weekend and used a rub I had been working on and I think we did great competing with that kind of compition. We fed a couple hundred people and had a blast. My spare ribs had a great response from the people. My ABT's stuffed with deer sausage and cream cheese were rockin. They called them rattle snake eggs with I thought was catchy. That's what I am going to call them now. It was so much fun I can't wait for next year. I am still coughing up smoke. I will post up picks later.

Very cool congrats!!!!!!!!
