yepp yepp in 2004 we got 52" in one day up here and it was bad we live in the town and still over a week be fore they could dig  us out! we had drift of over 50 feet in some area. we just enjoyed it. We hade power and food and a cozy bed.... ;-)

Fond memories living in upstate NY!  Watertown vs. Rochester/Buffalo area, but same lake effect results!  I survived the Blizzard of '77!  (There's a facebook group for that, lol!).

Yep i survived that too... very interesting week / week and  half.   I'll never forget it.

Redfield in Oswego county NY just got 66 inches in 4 days. My brother had to go up and shovel off the roof of his snowmobile camp this weekend.

We got about 6 inches in the past 24 hours here in michigan. Gonna be a long winter... Still didn't stop me from smoking last night! Lol

I was outside today.  I'm just shy of 6 feet tall and the snow was up to my crotch.  Gonna be a LONG winter
