Pretty common for stock therms. Think I'd trust the iGrill and start calling GMG
For a replacement.

They are sending me a new probe I was very impressed with the fast response time. On a side note the iOS app doesn't work over your local wif connection you have to request a beta version. The point to point works but is very short range so kinda worthless to be honest.  I requested the beta version but no response yet on that from GMG.
