I've decided to add a burner inside my current build, 3/4 inch pipe x 4ft,  question is, I've always drilled the pipe with 1/16" holes, but I've seen where some people cut slots along the bottom of the pipe ( looks like they use a cut off wheel). Is there any pros/cons to doing it that way?

I read over the thread, thinking it convinced me to stick with drilling the holes. Reason; think I will get better heat control.
