Fresh Sausage Patty Sammies

A few months ago, Mrs Bear brought a pound of Fresh Sausage home, without any seasonings, so I added a few things I had laying around.
Black Pepper ---------------- 1/2 tsp
Red Pepper Flakes --------- 1/2 tsp
Coriander—————————-1/2 tsp
Garlic Powder---------------- 1/2 tsp
Onion Powder---------------- 1/2 tsp
Then I mixed it all up real good, made some quick patties (4), and froze them.

So all I had to do this time is thaw them out & Fry them.
Unlike Hamburgers & Deerburgers, I like my Sausage Fried better than grilled, so Fry them I did.
Then I put some of Mrs Bear’s BBQ sauce on, and had my first two Sammies.

Then the second night there was still one left, so this time I added some Hot Peppers, and some cheese, and heated them until the cheese was melted.

Pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.

Thanks for looking!!
Bear

Looks delicious John!
I'm surprised you didn't use the air fryer!
BTW, that thing makes the most incredible French fries that I have ever had.
I think we may give it a go with onion rings today!
Much better than deep fried!

I just so happen to be making hot and sweet Italian sausage patties today on the grill. Had a real craving and thought it'd be a nice change. But, it's fresh made from the grocer, not my own mix....lol.

Yours look great! Makes me want to get things going out there asap!

Yup like I said in another thread from the Bear. He's going to be right chunky come hibernation time.
But they do look awesome.

Thank You Al!!
If I had the Bigger AirFryer, or the AirFry Oven, I would love to make Sausage Patties in it, but my 3.4 Quart HotAirFryer is too small for Patties.
And Thanks for the Like.

I like Sausage Sammies now & then as a change from my usual Deerburgers.

I finally gave in and bought one. I hesitated forever because there just was not any more real estate on the counter. Finally dipped my toes in the air fryer water with a 2.5 liter "Cooks" model from JC Penny when they had them for $24 after rebate and sale (It appears to be the Bella 2.5l model under a "Cooks" store label). It's basically a 7" basket. But now that it's just the two of us, that seems to work just fine. Not going to air fry up a couple of days food, but a single meal is no problem.

It's a breeze for cooking fresh breakfast sausage, either patties or small links. They are usually done by the time my scrambled eggs are done in a pan. The odd thing is I don't see massive amounts of grease coming out of the sausage as compared to when I pan fried it, but the sausage is not "greasy" either. I'm sold on an air fryer (but still need to stay with a smaller model due to lack of kitchen counter space - but that's OK and working for us).

I'm (almost) with you Dave. No more counter space, but been tempted to dip my toes in the water for a while. But I do have a convection oven- Not exactly the same- but I am finding use for a lot of the features. Much of which are the same features as I would use an air fryer- so.... I think I will just keep watching you guys with air fryers enviously.
