Homemade anything that does not require refrigeration would work. In any case, everybody has Local and Unique items that would make great gifts. If one of the Mississippi Members could get a good price on Tupelo Honey, that would be an awesome gift. In NJ and PA, there is Tastykake brand Cupcakes and treats. These are unique to the East Coast and would be something central and western States members may enjoy...JJ

Lots of folks Can Jelly and Jam. I have heard of Scuppernong Jelly being popular in Southern States. I cant get it here in PA unless I order online. There was a recent thread on Jalapeño Jelly, somebody made. That would be an interesting exchange. Jerky and Dried Sausages don't need refrigeration and would be Prized among members that don't make it.
There are a Ton of possibilities...JJ

From an outside perspective; what sounds uniquely "Michigan"? I literally can't think of anything lol. But I may be too close.

Thanks Steve but that would not suit me I'm one of these people that don't mix their food together. Nope no mixing my peas into my mashed potatoes or anything else. About the only mixed together foods I eat is in soup.
